Greetings! My name is Dr. Victoria Hernandez, I am a board certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I originally attended the University of Texas at Arlington, where I received my Bachelor of Science in Nursing. While working as a pediatric psychiatric nurse, I completed my Doctorate in Nursing Practice at the University of the Incarnate Word. I am an active member of The National Society of Leadership and Success, and the American Nurses Association & Texas Nurses Association.

How I Can Help

I collaborate with the rest of the Mind works team to treat each patient delicately and efficiently. I conduct patient intake screenings to thoroughly diagnose mental illnesses. I utilize treatment measures like psychotherapy and integrative therapy interventions as well as psychotropic medications individual to patient needs. I continue to monitor medication effectiveness for each patient and assist in case management needs of each family.

More About Me

Hobbies of mine include exercising, painting, cooking, and spending time outdoors. Wellness and self- care are special to me. I also enjoy walking at the Pearl or in the park. I am a busy soccer and football mom, and I love contributing to my kiddo’s teams. Most importantly, I enjoy making memories and spending time with my family and friends.
