Christina Burden is a licensed professional counselor who is passionate about Dr. Brown’s work on wholehearted living. She believes that understanding the role of shame and vulnerability in building connection, love, and belonging is at the heart of the struggles many of us face in living rich and meaningful lives. In service of this belief, she attended the Brené Brown’s Daring Way™ facilitator training workshop and details the journey to becoming a Daring Way™ Facilitator-Candidate in her blog here.
The Daring Way™ group is a powerful, process oriented group where we explore topics such as vulnerability, courage, shame, and worthiness. We examine the thoughts, emotions, and behaviors that are holding us back and we identify the new choices and practices that will move us toward more authentic and wholehearted living. The primary focus of the Daring WayTM group is on developing shame resilience skills and developing daily practices that transform the way we live, love, parent, and lead.
