Chief Clinical Officer

Hi, my name is Angela! I am a registered play therapist that works with children ages 3-12. I support children struggling with school challenges, anxiety and depression, or children that have been diagnosed with a sensory processing disorder. I also work with parents to support them in developing strategies that best help their children feel capable and confident. I enjoy working collaboratively with children and their families by bringing out individual strengths and providing guidance and support.

Anxiety

I help children and families struggling with anxiety whether it be due to changes in school, sibling relationships, or difficulty managing daily stressors. I provide techniques to help children and families cope with life’s stressors, and work on creating positive habits and learning new skills that can be utilized even after therapy is complete.

Sensory Processing Disorders/Emotional Regulation

It can be challenging as a parent with a child that struggles with sensory deficits or poor emotional regulation. I help children learn coping strategies to manage their sensory difficulties while educating parents on ways to support their children as they continue to grow. I collaborate with teachers and schools and help children navigate social difficulties that can arise in a school setting.

My passion is to see children and their families grow together and build strong relationship bonds. I will work with you and your family from a strength-based approach and will guide you in learning techniques that are best suited for you or your family. I love giving back to my community and profession by mentoring other mental health professionals, as well as serving on local and state-wide associations. In my spare time, you will find me on Pinterest looking up tasty recipes to make for my family and friends. I enjoy traveling and finding a nice beach where I can read a good book and get some sun!
