Hello, my name is Anjana Neupaney, and I am a board certified pediatrician and a fellow of American Academy of Pediatrics. I am very excited to be joining the Mind Works team. My goal is to provide excellent evidence based medical care for children with behavioral and mental health disorder. I believe the best treatment is provided by a multidisciplinary team that includes other clinicians and therapist as well as the school district. My eventual goal for your child would be to formulate a plan for their future success and help them realize their full potential as adults.
Education and Experience:
I was born and raised in Nepal where I did my medical school from Manipal college of Medical Sciences located in Pokhara which is a beautiful valley in the midst of the Himalayas. I started practicing Pediatrics after completing a residency in Pediatrics from Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo Mi. Before moving to San Antonio in 2020 I was practicing outpatient pediatrics in a community health center in Nashua, New Hampshire. Working in a community health center in an underserved area, I got the opportunity to help a lot of children with mental and behavioral disorder. I saw firsthand the big need as a general pediatrician to provide mental health services to these children. This is where my interest in this field emanates from.
More About Me:
I have been living in San Antonio for the last 2 years with my beautiful family that includes my husband and 2 adorable boys and a dog. I enjoy travelling, listening to music and taking care of my family.
